I came from a country that are considered a Muslim majority country, and has the largest muslim population. Indonesia is a country that are located in Southeast Asia, some countries considered Indonesia as producer of various type of mining materials, such as; petroleum, tin, natural gas, nickel, copper, bauxite, coal, gold, and silver.
Indonesia have 17.504 island that contain 32 province and home to hundreds of ethnic groups, that speak different language.
If I can change one thing in my own country, I would like to change their energy source. Indonesia is a country that still use natural resource as their source of energy, even though some natural resource are nonrenewable and this may lead to environmental issues, such as; global warming, and deforestation. Global warming have been a problem to many countries, while some countries are trying to prevent global warming others still doesn't care. CO2 emission s in Indonesia are high and the cause of this issues was mostly due to deforestation and construction.
This post feels incomplete.
BalasHapusHow would you change the energy source? Why does this particular change matter the most? What can individuals do to contribute to the change?
I would change energy source by using solar power as renewable resources, since Indonesia is a country that are located in the tropical area. Which lead Indonesia country to generate energy. The way individual contribute is by purchasing solar power or by planting trees in their backyard.
