Learning New Language

Nowadays learning new Language is very important, where language is a tool that allow people to communicate with other people outside their own country. More students are interested to study abroad, it is crucial for them to learn new language. Language is very important tool to survive abroad. Although technology have make life's more easier for people to go abroad without learning their language. But it is best to learn the language rather than relying on technology, since learning new language allow us to be more open minded. Especially communicating with people that are not from your country.

It's difficult to learn new language, especially language that have different letter from your country. For example America and Indonesia, although their accent and their vocab is different, but they use the same letter. On the other hand, if we pick America and China they have different accent, different vocab, as well as different letter. Learning new language is very difficult, you need patient and determination to learn. It's very important to have a long term motivation of learning new language, those people who have who have a long term motivation are less likely to give up. 

Base on my experience, I don't like speaking with foreign people. Especially using language that Im not confident with. But I like listening to foreign people while their talking. As a foreign student I can understand that some people can understand what their trying to say, but you could not reply to his or her question when they ask you. People have their own liking and disliking, in term of learning new language skills. 

The most difficult thing to learn new language is memorising their vocabulary, and grammar rules, because vocab and their grammar are very different from my country. Some vocab or grammar may ring a bell in your head, since some vocab and grammar are taken from other foreign country.

I want to learn Japanese language, because It's my dream to live in Japan, as well as learning and understanding their culture. My language goal is to have a fluent conversation with Japanese people, which allows me to understand more about their culture.

I believe language effect the way I'm thinking, because learning new language allows me to communicate with other people, which lead to understanding their culture. New language can make me be more open minded.

In my opinion every school should open language learn. It is important for students who are interested to study abroad to learn the language first.

APA Reflection

I think the difficulties of making the Introduction is stating your topic and reasons of making the essay, without answering the topic directly. I didn't make a perfect introduction, because my introduction only describing a brief information about the topics. I didn't state the reason why I make this paper.

As for the conclusion, I think the difficulties of making the conclusion is not  to summaries all of the my information that I've already type, and you have to make a short conclusion that overall summaries all of my paper. I didn't make a perfect conclusion, because I only make a short conclusion.

organization part is a bit challenging for me, because the essay doesn't come out the way I wanted. I thought that, in each paragraph are supposed to link with the other paragraph. My structure was basically from external factor first, which is the geographical location and slowly going to the internal factor, about ancient Rome and ancient Greece cultures.

The most difficult part in making the APA is to find the right source from scholarly article. Not all scholar article provide explanation and answer toward my topic. It takes a lot of time to find the right source. In term of the formatting Im still adapting to the APA format, since my school approach essay differently and also different formating.

I believe my essay content provide many evidence that support my topic. Since my topic is about the difference between ancient Rome and ancient Greece culture, than it is more likely for me to have evidence. However I also believe that my evidence are not that strong, which may cause confusion or does not looked convincing.

In term of my mechanics, I have a lot of problem in giving puctuation and putting certain vocab in the right place. Other problem that I have is putting the tenses. Since my topic is about ancient time, I forgot to put past tenses.

Overall I could say that this essay is quite stressing for me. This is my first time  making APA, but I'm gonna try my best to be more prepared in the future APA.

Sports

The most popular sport in my country is badminton. In Indonesia, badminton was firstly established in Jakarta on January 27, 1947. Until now badminton is the most popular and adored sport in Indonesia. what make badminton unique in my country is that badminton are affordable for everyone. You only need 2 rackets, 1 shuttle cock, a net, and a large spaces. secondly, badminton can be played by everyone. there's no requirement of playing badminton, and badminton can be access everywhere. Thirdly, Indonesia hold most champion in badminton. producing many talented athletes that had won many medals. As Indonesia produce a lot of talented athletes, they also attract many young generation to be the next badminton champion.

Sports is a good thing. Sports allows people around the world support the same team. when many people routing the same team, it does't takes time before they became friendly with one another, even though if are a total stranger. people from different backgrounds and classes come together as one to route the same team, that is how amazing sports can be. Sports allows people to connect with each other that came from different classes and backgrounds, unifying them through sports language.         

Sports is for everyone, and that’s include, females too. sports doesn’t judge their gender, classes, backgrounds, or origin. Although there are some sports that does not allow males and females to compete with each other, due to different sheer strengths. But they can compete with the same gender. Some sports allows males and females compete with each other.

My favorite sports is badminton and basketball. I never played basketball, but I love NBA. I enjoyed watching NBA player shows their skills and move. My favorite team is Portland blazers and my favorite player is Damian Lillard. I like Damian Lillard because he have a good ball handling, and he was  able to shoot at the clutching moment. As for badminton, in my country I always play badminton everyday, and I also enjoyed watching badminton athlete shows their endurance and agility.

Do you Ever Feel Insecure?

Every people have experienced insecure once in their lifetime. wether it was came from the past, present, or future. Every people will eventually feel insecure, even I as a writer also feel insecure. Insecure can be define as someone who are lacking self confidence or having doubt with his/her abilities. Insecure are mostly experienced by introvert, usually introvert people doesn't value himself enough.

As a writer I do also have experience insecurities, where self doubt consume me and making me less confidence in doing things. In my point of view insecure came from the persons past experience, where they have failed in doing something and have been bullied by other people. Which lead people to be haunted by their past experience and causing them to be lacking confidence.

Here are some helpful tips that can prevent people from being insecure. for starter you need to derive your self confidence, where some people may beating themselves to hard for having insecurity.  Accepting the fact that you have insecurity are very important. Overcoming insecurity is like a journey, taking little steps to boost your confidence and stepping out from a comfort zone. Secondly, excluding people who want to take you down. Every people need a friends, however in this world there are two types of friends. There are friends that are trying to take you down and there are also friends that support you. So if you have any friends that are trying to take you down, you should start distancing yourself from those kind of people. 

Insecurities are a negative thing that came from our emotion. Insecurity creates self doubt, which lead to lacking of self esteem. Which affecting your mental health as well as your life. Socialising is part of our daily life, where interacting with other people can be difficult for people that have insecurities. When you're interacting with other people and you feel insecure. They can judge you base on your word and your action, which make people feel uncomfortable around you. To sum things up, insecurities is a negative emotion that will affect your self esteem. which lead people that feels insecure are difficult to interact with other people, due to the lack of confidence. 

Is it Mandatory for Students to Attend Classes?

Some people believe that college students are required to show up in class. while other people believe that it's not a must to attend classes. Which will be discussed in the next paragraph.

people who believe that attending classes are relevant because some subject are difficult to be understand without attending classes. The purpose of attending class is to provide guideline on those particular subject, allowing students to have better understanding of a subject. Furthermore, attending class can also provide social benefit, since students are required to have a discussion with other classmates which lead to have a better understanding with each other. In addition, discussion also lead students to become more open minded, by hearing other students and teachers opinion.

On the other hand, those people who believe that attending class is not a must are lead to believe that students should focus on their subject of interest. If those subject are irrelevant for the students than they don't need to attend. Forcing students to attend class that they don't have any interest in, would lead to be overwhelming and stress which can affect their health mentally and physically. Moreover, students can gain more knowledge and  experience on those particular subject of interest, where they can apply for job that are related to those major of interest. Rather than attending classes that have no relation with those interest, students can enhance their skills by applying for a job. Allowing students to be more open minded as well as enhancing social interaction between other people.

Overall some people may oppose my opinion, but I think  students are not required to attend classes that they have no interest in. I think students can gain more experience on the subject of interest by using their free time to apply for a job.
